Dig 4 Gold is a small family owned and operated business in Victoria. We love finding gold and talking about gold, it is our passion and we want to share that with as many people as possible. Our gold tours aren't just about finding gold. They are about sharing the history of the areas we visit, the ground we walk on, why the old timers worked particular areas like they did and what you should be looking out for when you are out in the goldfields. We aim to give all our customers an experience they will remember not just another day in the bush.
Our gold tours will make sure you are on the right track to finding your own patches in the future. We will help those who have never looked for gold before decide whether they want to take it up as a hobby or if a one day experience was enough to tick it off the bucket list. More in-depth training for the GPZ 7000 is also offered for those who are wanting to get the most out of their machine.

Half day tours are a great opportunity for anyone wanting to increase their chances of finding gold. Dig 4 Gold do the hard work of finding the gold bearing ground for you. The ground you will be working will also be explained to you. It is a great opportunity for to ask questions and gain useful hands on experience to help better your detecting experience.
Maximum group size 6 people. Locations are near Castlemaine or Lal Lal.
Full Day Gold Tour
