The Arboretum, 1 ha in size, is a very attractive park and it is a great spot for a walk. It is an ideal educational facility that can be appreciated by inexperienced and experienced gardeners and tree lovers alike. Be aware that the path running through the arboretum can be a bit slippery due to moss.

Off-street parking available at the Edward Street entrance and in the service lane of Cranbourne Road, and a Rotunda available for shelter.

Bicycles are not permitted.

At the Edward Street entrance there is a basic playground, water tap and picnic table.

Opening Hours:


April to October: Sunday to Friday, 6am-6pm
November to March: Sunday to Friday, 6am-8pm
Closed Saturdays, except by appointment.
