The north west of Melbourne which includes the suburbs of Bacchus Marsh, Brookfield, Burnside, Cairnlea, Caroline Springs, Diggers Rest, Gisborne, Greenvale, Hillside, Kealba, Keilor, Keilor Downs, Keilor Lodge, Keilor Park, Kings Park, Kurunjang, Melton, Melton West, Melton South, St Albans, Sunbury, Sydenham, Taylors Hill and Taylors Lakes has many great locations for Christmas lights with Sunbury and Melton being the area with the best lights. 12 The Hermitage, Sunbury (Lights, Santa sleigh for the kids to sit in, huge candy canes, snow machine and Santa's mailbox where all local letters get replied to. From 6pm until 11.30 pm)

15 Lightwood Drive, Sunbury (Lights and beautiful lit characters including reindeers and sleigh on roof. Also at #52 there is a large front lawn with lovely large lit characters)

16 Amity Place, Sunbury (A huge house draped with lights synchronised to Christmas music. Also some inflatables and lit characters)

18 Olive Grove, Sunbury (Huge display of lights and some characters)

206 Reservoir Road, Sunbury (Popular walk-through interactive display with lights, lit characters and inflatables. Open Friday & Saturday nights. Not doing display in 2023.)

290 Gap Road, Sunbury (Fantastic display which includes lots of lights, snow machine, characters, Santa on his seat, magnificent indoor window displays, snow machine and 'reindeer food' for the kids. The display takes three months to setup. Donations to Challenge which supports kids with cancer. Santa Clause will be there for majority of nights up including Christmas Eve, along with the Sunbury Grinch on Christmas Eve.)

Carla Views, Sunbury (Fantastic location with four houses in the street having displays. #9 is amazing with a humungous spread of lights and characters. #8 also has a very large display. 8:30-11:30pm)

Pinot Court, Sunbury (The trees and lamp posts in the court are covered in lights. The best display is at #6 with colourful lights draping the garden bushes.)

Sydenham
