Box Hill Art Group (Box Hill)

The Box Hill Art Group is a community painting and drawing group open to anyone over 16. It began in 1952 making it one of the oldest such groups in suburban Melbourne.

Since establishment it has nurtured many thousands of budding artists, as well as stretching the skills of experienced and exhibiting artists. Moreover, we cater for water colours, oils, acrylics, pastels, drawing, life drawings and mixed media. We also offer our member's access to lessons, paint outs, art demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions and art awards. The Box Hill Art Group will open up a whole new colourful world for you to enjoy.

The Box Hill Art Group meets at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre in Box Hill. The Box Hill Art Group receives support from Whitehorse City Council; however, it is not operated by Council or the Box Hill Community Arts Centre.
