Our Program
The Blue Fin program caters from all ages of learning; beginning at six months and continuing through the learning pathway into a squad system that provides training for swimmers of all levels, from the competitive school swimmer up to Open Nationals.
The Blue Fin philosophy is focused on technical excellence, ensuring that strong foundations are formed from a young age. Blue Fin has many success stories, with numerous swimmers in our squad program starting at Blue Fin from as young as six months old.

Waterbabies
Our pre-school aquatics program is built on the philosophy that confidence in the water is key to not only a swimmer's development, but also to a child's enjoyment of water and swimming in all its forms. We want our students to not only be good swimmers, but also those who will be able to enjoy all fun and excitement the water has to offer! Our pre-school aquatic program is for children aged from 6 months to four years old. These classes are the first steps on a young swimmer's journey!
Learn to swim
Starting from children aged four, the sequential teaching system develops skills as the swimmer's proficiency improves and they progress from level to level. Whilst technical excellence is the fundamental cornerstone of our program, water safety is an important element of the learn to swim process.
Swim Squad
Blue Fin has many success stories. Numerous swimmers in our squad program started swimming with Blue Fin from as young as six months old, and have gone on to compete at a national level! Blue Fin offers seven different training squads in order to cater for the variety of needs required by individual swimmers. Our program includes training for squad beginners through to elite national performers. The sessions are conducted mornings and afternoons, six days a week, to ensure each squad gets sufficient lane space, attention and support.
